2, Once you are on google maps you can press on the screen and drag to look around the world globe as you please. If you wish to explore then you can zoom in by pinching or scrolling in to get a closer look in areas as well as pinch out to zoom out.

3, If you wish to look up directions to a specific place, such as the Beehive in Wellington. You will press the search bar in the top left hand side of your screen and type in any location. After you have typed in the location you can press the magnifying glass on the right of the search bar, this will put your search in and if it is an accurate search it will provide a picture of the location.

4, Once you have searched the place you want directions by clicking on the magnifying glass highlighted by the black box. In this box you will see a blue circle button under the name highlighted by the black box in the image below. Pressing this button will give you the fastest accurate directions from the place you are currently at (Where your device is located).
